Other Inverts

You will often see a category on aquarium websites called “Invertebrates”. This is a bit of a misnomer when the phase is used on websites like ours that sell coral and a few other critters like the ones below. Corals, snails, worms, sea stars, anemones, and most of the life forms on earth lack the backbone that humans and bony fish have. Sites that also sell fish may have “Fish”, “Coral”, and “Other invertebrates”, but the industry at large has dropped the word “other”. Some more scientific sources may use the term, "non-coral invertebrates" to refer to the same group.  On this page depending on what we have in stock you might find sea stars, snails, feather dusters, anemones, algae, and more.
